How to read this
The figures are gross yield before manufacturing overage. Every process loses a little material to transfer, sampling, and line changeover, so build an allowance into your planning rather than ordering to the exact number the calculator gives you.
The blister columns assume every tablet contains one serving. If you are cross-scoring for quarter dosing — which we would generally suggest — a tablet is still one serving for yield purposes; the score changes how a customer takes it, not how much material went in.
What the bands mean
- Below 25 mg — the contribution becomes hard to distinguish from the rest of the formula. Most brands that trial here conclude the compound does nothing, and the conclusion is an artefact of the dose.
- 25 to 40 mg — the working range in a blend. 30 mg is the most common starting point.
- 40 to 100 mg — a middle zone with diminishing return per milligram in a blend context.
- Above 100 mg — standalone territory. Formulate it as a standalone product with a stimulant, not as an expensive blend.
