This category has a documentation problem: material sold under a name that turns out to be something else. The answer is not adjectives, it is analysis. Here is exactly what we test, what you receive, and how you can verify it independently.

Identity by chromatography

The single most important question about any 13-OH material is whether it is actually 13-OH and not its cheaper parent alkaloid. HPLC answers it definitively.

Under our method the two compounds resolve as clearly separated peaks — tetrahydropalmatine at 15.0 minutes, 13-OH at 18.8. A sample of THP cannot present as the derivative, and a blend of the two shows both. The method in detail.

Verify us independently

We would rather you did. A supplier that discourages third-party verification is telling you something.

  • Send material to your own lab. The separation from THP is unambiguous under standard reverse-phase HPLC conditions; any competent analytical lab can run it.
  • Ask us for method parameters. We will share the conditions we use so your lab can set up quickly rather than developing a method from scratch.
  • Compare lot to lot. Consistency across lots is the thing that actually matters in production, and it is visible in the certificates.
