How we research, write, and review

Who writes this

Technical content on this site is produced and reviewed by the Corydalis Labs Technical Team — the people responsible for our analytical methods, formulation work, and regulatory monitoring. We publish under the team name rather than individual bylines because the review is genuinely collective and because the accountability sits with the company.

Where the information comes from

• Analytical data is our own — identity methods, chromatograms, and assay results generated in our facility on material we manufacture.
• Regulatory statements are drawn from primary sources: the Controlled Substances Act and its implementing regulations, published federal register actions, agency publications, and state statutes. We cite what we rely on so you can read it yourself rather than take our characterisation of it.
• Formulation observations come from our own bench work and from what customers report back. Where something is practitioner experience rather than published science, we say so in the sentence rather than in a footnote.
• Botanical and chemical background reflects the published literature on Corydalis yanhusuo and its alkaloids.

What we will not publish

• Claims that a product diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents any disease.
• Comparisons to controlled substances, or language implying intoxication.
• Effects claims stated with more confidence than the evidence supports. Where the honest answer is "formulators report" rather than "studies show," we write the former.
• Legal advice. We describe the regulatory landscape and point to the primary sources; the judgement belongs to your counsel.

Review and corrections

Every technical page carries a review date. Pages covering regulatory status are checked on a recurring cycle and updated whenever an agency acts — the scheduling tracker is the fastest-moving of these and records the date each entry was last verified.

If you find an error, tell us at sales@corydalislabs.com. We will correct it, and where the correction is material we will note what changed and when.

Commercial disclosure

We sell 13-OH. That is an obvious interest and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What we can do is make the documentation good enough that you can check it — publish the analytical method so your lab can reproduce it, cite the statutes so your counsel can read them, and state plainly where the compound's limitations are. A reader who verifies us and finds we were straight is worth more to us than one who simply believed a headline.
