Control
Your current product, unchanged. Without this the other two tell you very little.
Additive
The same formula plus 30 mg of 13-OH per serving. Isolates what 13-OH adds.
Substitutive
30 mg of 13-OH with mitragynine reduced. This is the one that usually decides it.
Two things that ruin a trial
Underdosing. Brands that bench at 10 or 15 mg to be cautious almost always conclude the compound does nothing. Start at 30 mg. And a panel of one. Sensory observation is noisy at n=1 — use several people, keep the flavour system identical across samples, and blind them if you can. More on evaluating it.
